people are people

Sometimes, in our busy everyday lives, we just find ourselves noticing the little things that we usually just ignore. You guys know how it is, right? So when I was doing groceries this morning (for my additional stuff to bring with me on my trip back home) and was waiting patiently in a long line to pay...I get bored so I looked around and busied myself with other things. I noticed the faces of people doing their shopping, some were serious, some were smiling, some wore expressions that are either confused or thoughtful. I also noticed the cashiers, how they go about their task mechanically, pushing stuff through the barcode scanner and trying to appear cheerful even though they’re not. Then I noticed families with their little kids, teenagers, couples all going through their everyday shopping. It’s quite interesting to watch people, actually. I don’t do it often enough, and I’m sure a lot of you guys can say the same… but sometimes, it’s quite entertaining. You can get a lot just by people watching. You should try it... :o)
