building our house
Years ago, when my parents were just starting to build our house, I remember I was around 9 years old. My sister, who was 7 years old then, we would play around the house and watched as the construction workers did their thing. We would see tools like saws and huge logs of wood and hammers and nails all around. At one point, we would play jokes with them! Haha. It’s funny when I look back and think about it.

school days
When I was little, I remember I had lots of books from school. Every start of the school year, I would have a pile of books that I brought home and they are of all sizes and width. I’ve kept every single one of them because they just make me nostalgic every time I see them. It’s like I’m back in grade school all over again. I know, I’m a very sentimental person and a pack rat really. My mom was bugging me to let the old books go. She would say, “You don’t use them anymore, sell your textbooks and you can earn some money. I don’t want to, but I guess I’ll follow her advice one of these days. LOL.

boring weekend...
It’s been a stormy weekend, and what’s worse, there’s no electricity! I hate having to stay at home without electricity, because then I can’t do anything. All around, the lights are out, televisions are off, and people are only relying on battery powered radios to get updates on the current weather. It’s really a bummer when you’re stuck at home during weekends with absolutely nothing to do. I’d like to be productive as much as possible, so if I wanna relax, I want to be able to do the things I do that makes me relax… like listen to music, watch TV, play the piano, surf the Net, play PC games. But if there’s no electricity, I can’t do any of that. Oh well, at least I got to sleep for a while longer and I got to read untouched books. Hehe.

job hunt
I applied for jobs today. And just like any other job hunter, I had my documents with me, including my resume and other important papers like transcript of records, diploma, birth certificate, and a lot more. Some jobs require that you put your papers in one envelope for better processing. So I had to buy one and then I looked for it. Job hunting is never easy, but as long as you are confident and you get out there, you can find one. Better than just to stay at home and do nothing, right? Don’t be lazy. Be productive.
