love what you do

I’m not really a follower of golf, but I can understand the enthusiasm that golf players have whenever they play the sport. I once saw a show in the television where the guy was a golf expert and he would show off all his golf trophies in his house. It must feel really to be accomplished in your chosen field, to excel in something that you’re passionate about. Not just in golf or any other sport, but in everything that we attempt to do. I’ve always thought that if a person loves what he’s doing, it won’t seem like work at all, it would be enjoyable, and chances are, he will excel in that particular area.

chosen career

I wanted to take up business management at some point. Its because one of my friend in high school wanted that but after a while I change my mind so I choose BS Psychology as my course. I'm totally interested in the behavior and attitude of an individual. (I also hate Math) I don’t have any regrets though. My course was such a fulfilling time for me and the experience I had, I’ll never trade it for anything. (Plus finding some good friends) Being able to take up your dream course, that’s a good thing. But what really matters is what you do after college. If you get a job that’s not even related to your college course, then what good is it, right? I guess what really matters is that you do what you love, so that in the end, you’ll have no regrets!

to be a mom!

Kids are just adorable, aren’t they? They’re like little angels. They are God’s gift. I’ve always wanted to have a baby of my own. That’s one of the things I want to be able to accomplish in my life. To be a mom. I want to feel what it’s like to have a little one come from inside me, feel that warm small breath, touch and kiss those little limbs. Then watch that little baby grow as a toddler, crawling and learning how to walk, then a child running and playing on a wooden swing set I’ll have built especially for him or her, then watch that little child grow into a teenager, and ultimately an adult. It’s great to know that I gave life to that person. I’m sure mothers out there know exactly this feeling that I’m talking about. Right moms? And I hope that one day, I’ll also be able to experience that.

happy thanksgiving...

Did you guys enjoy Thanksgiving? Did you really celebrate the meaning of the occasion? Or just made all the food and celebrations out of habit? Well, I certainly hope you were grateful and thankful for all the blessings that you have. I was just thinking about this the other night. I realize I have so much to be thankful for, and it’s amazing the clarity you get when you don’t focus on your problems for a minute or two. You get to see how blessed you are that your heart is beating, that you can eat 3 or more times a day, you have multivitamins to keep you healthy, you have clothes to wear, a house to find shelter in… that you have the beautiful things that others can only dream of, and the blessings that you deserve. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, let’s try to look inside us for a moment, and reflect. What are the things that you’re thankful for? Give thanks and appreciate them! And not only on Thanksgiving Day but all year round! Happy Thanksgiving! Viva San Isidro Labrador!
